Bodenham Arborteum and Arley Arboretum
Autumn is here in full glory with a colourful display of foliage and there is no
better place to explore the colours of the season than at one of the arboreta’s
located in Worcestershire.
Arley Arboretum is one of the oldest and most spectacular Arboretums in Britain
and is now open to the public thanks to the trustees of the R.D. Turner Charitable
Trust. Visit the Arboretum today to see a fine collection of Cedar, Tulips, Sugar
Maple, Ginkgo Biloba, Limes, Black Walnut, Paper-bark Maple, Beech, Monkey Puzzles,
Pines, Wellingtonias, and Acers with the deciduous trees in spectacular colour in
Autumn.
Bodenham Arboretum is an award-winning Arboretum home to in excess of 2700 species.
In 1973 the owner set about damming the streams and tributary valleys to make two
chains of lakes and pools, and over the years has enriched the property by planting
trees and shrubs from all parts of the world.
The epicentre of the Arboretum lies around the big pool where many rare and ornamental
trees can be seen in flower or fruit at all times of the year, and their autumn
colours are a special beauty.
