The Fold

The Fold Building image

The Fold at New House Farm, Bransford is a refurbished barn and other converted farm buildings. The refurbishment demonstrates sustainable building techniques and materials in action. At the heart of The Fold is the Ecocafe, the food is local, seasonal, fair-trade and organic wherever possible.

There is also a range of designers and makers working, demonstrating, exhibiting and selling their creations. There is currently a metalworker and jeweller Sharon McSwiney, fabric printer Sarah Roberts, Jeremy Cornwell and his team operating from Foal Yard Gallery and furniture workshop, Glacier Emma Dicks, upholsterer Janette Hill precious metal jeweller Shironi Patel, oil painter Rachael Griffiths and graduate ceramicist Suzanne Kay.

Jinney Ring Craft Centre

Jinney Ring Craft Centre is a selection of beautiful 200-year old barns converted into 12 craft studio workshops as well as a craft gallery and gift shop.

The crafts on offer include glass blowing and stained glass making, jewellery making, several types of wood working, interior designs and soft furnishings, violin making, painting and picture framing, plants and shrubs and a small falconry centre. The crafts people are always delighted to share their knowledge with visitors and you will see and buy many fine examples of their work.

There is the Farmhouse Restaurant offering wholesome lunches that transforms into an a la carte restaurant in the evening offering exquisite food.
