Elgar Birthplace Museum and Spetchley Park Gardens

Two unique attractions one glorious day out in Worcestershire!

11.00 am Arrive at the Elgar Birthplace Museum
Welcome and Introductory Video with morning refreshments.

11.30 am Enjoy the Elgar Birthplace Museum
Tour the current exhibitions in the Elgar Centre and then discover the many treasures in the Birthplace Cottage.Opportunity to browse in the Museum Gift Shop.

12.45 pm Depart for Spetchley Park Gardens

1.00 pm Arrive at Spetchley Park Gardens
Lunch in the Tea Rooms situated in the Old Laundry.

2.00 pm Explore Spetchley Park Gardens
Tour the thirty acre historic gardens and attached deer park at your own pace, seeing where Elgar often stayed and composed. Then enjoy some afternoon refreshment before your departure. A selection of plants are available for purchase.

4.00 pm Depart

Accessibility
The Elgar Birthplace Museum aims to be as accessible as possible to all. The Elgar Centre, including exhibitions and refreshment area, and the Cottage ground floor, are fully accessible to wheelchair users, but steep narrow stairs to the Cottage's upper floor restrict access for less agile visitors. Guide and Hearing dogs welcome. Wheelchair access at Spetchley Park Gardens is limited
