Local TV Chef Alan Coxon
Alan combines a great sense of fun when cooking whilst
incorporating his vast knowledge of food, their origins and food
history. Alan has a natural passion for food and for people and is
keen to encourage others in their enjoyment of food preparation.
His strong knowledge and presentation style are illustrated in his
BBC 2 series "Ever Wondered" and his regular appearances on "Gloria
Huniford's Open House". Alan has also written two books entitled
"The Singles Cookbook" and "Three Chefs in the Cape", and is a
contributing columnist for various magazines and newspapers
As a resident of Worcestershire Alan is keen to promote the use
of local produce in cooking and has an interest in the history that
surrounds traditional cookery
