Geoffrey Chaucer (1335-1400)

Geoffrey Chaucer once worked as an official in the Forest of Feckenham. He worked in a special court that administered harsh justice to poachers that were caught hunting the King's game. It was whilst working here that he was inspired to write his Middle-English masterpiece "The Canterbury Tales".
