Do you want to find out more about the historic city of Worcester? Then come and join one of our costumed guides as they walk you through the days of yesteryear, allowing you to relive the Worcester Story and the making of a Cathedral City.
Hear about the Romans, the devastating Viking raids, Elizabeth I and her visit to the city in 1575 and the bloody battle of Worcester that took place in 1651.
"The Worcester Story" is historically accurate and has been researched by historians and is also delivered by historians.
Walks take place every day, all year round, and depart from outside Worcester's historic Guildhall on the High Street at 6:00pm.
The walk will last for up to 90 minutes and the cost is £6 for Adults and £5 for Concessions. Booking is essential. To reserve your tickets please call us on 07949 222137.
Other tours are available for periods of time- Medieval, Tudor and Victorian for example. Others include themed tours. A children's Wicked Worcester Tour and Batt

Members of Droitwich Civic Society and Droitwich History & Archaeology Society are taking guided town walks during April to September. Walks will take place on 17th & 20th April, 15th & 18th May, 15th & 19th June, 17th July, 21st August and 18th September. Walks commence at 3.00pm from Droitwich Spa Heritage & Information Centre, St. Richard's House, Victoria Square and a charge of £2 per person will be made. Bookings can be made at Droitwich Heritage & Information Centre or payment can be made to the walk leader.

Arts workshops have been taking place in Droitwich’s youth clubs in connection with the Art in Empty Shops project thanks to some funding from Droitwich Spa Area Partnership and Wychavon District Council. Droitwich Youth Zone, Westlands Youth Club, Droitwich Youth House and Fernhill Heath have been visited by artist Sarah Edwards and have created some great work that will be part of the second phase of the exhibitions in the empty shops.
Until 2nd August, Dodderhill School are exhibiting some of their GCSE students work and textiles, next will be the youth club’s project and then Sarah James, poet and artist will exhibit her work to finish. All of the exhibitions can be found at the old Beaubelles shop in St. Andrew's Square Shopping Centre, Droitwich Spa.
We are lso looking for artists that would like to get involved in the organisation of the exhibitions so if there is anyone that would like to volunteer for this contact Jenny Davis

Worn to be Wild is a touring exhibition of theatrical costumes, headdresses and accessories designed by Kate Plumtree, costume maker to the film and theatre industry. The collection is inspired by British birds and mammals combined with the evolution of period dress from medieval to the present, each costume representing a different species and a specific era of fashion.

The BBC's dinosaur, Big Al, comes to visit Redditch, in an exhibiton of prehistoric monsters.
Put yourself in their landscape, with our magic blue screen and find out what it's like to be chased by a dinosaur! Get close up to a life size model head of big Al which was used in the close up scenes in the TV programme.
See real fossils and casts, discover all about this extraordinary dinosaur from the late Jurassic period, his environment and the many other creatures he hunted and lived with.
Please note that there is a charge of £2 for adults and £1 for children for Redditch residents to visit this exhibition on Wednesdays (when museum entry is free).
