Instructions of how to upload your event to the Visit Worcestershire website

Uploading your event on the Visit Worcestershire website will raise the profile of your event locally, nationally and internationally.

VISIT WORCESTERSHIRE MEMBERS

You have access to upload your events yourself through Guestlink. Simply, log on to Guestlink and follow the instructions in the How To section. Please note events don’t appear immediately on the website as they need to be approved by a member of the Visit Worcestershire Team. STRATEGIC OR EVENT VISIT WORCESTERSHIRE MEMBERS LISTINGS will show full details with enhanced view showing a short description and up to 8 images and cross promoted on your attraction page.

STANDARD MEMBERS will show full details without the image and short description up to 3 images and cross promoted on your attraction page.

VENUE OWNERS

If you are publishing events on the website for the first time, please contact lizp@hwchamber.co.uk to register your venue. You will then be issued with a log in for Guestlink and access to upload events at that venue.

VENUE OWNERS AND NON MEMBERS receive a basic single line listing with no images or website link

EVENT ORGANISERS - who hire a venue can either request the venue to add the event, or use the add your event form below

Please note that due to workloads it can take up to 48 hours for the Visit Worcestershire Team to upload events on to the website.

If you would like to submit an event to www.visitworcestershire.org, please fill out the form with the details of the event (* items are required).

  • Your name and email address are required so we can respond to you following the submission of the event. These are not seen by the public.
  • Use the search to find the event's venue. If the specific venue cannot be found, use the nearest town or village.

  • Enter a name to uniquely identify your event at this venue.
  • Select the best type to describe your event.
  • The minimum and maximum prices summarise the overall cost of attending the event; define in detail the specific prices in Price Notes, eg Child: £4, Adult: £10.
  • Select a suitable date range for the event; this should normally be no more than 30 days. Use the event time notes, for extra information, eg Doors open 30 mins before performance.

  • An email will confirm the event submission, which will be reviewed and we will email you the result.

Where you events appear

All events added are found on www.visitworcestershire.org/events. The Visit Worcestershire website currently receives up to 50,000 visitors per month. Events are accessed via the What's On page, via the What's On search box which is on most landing pages and via links from all of the accommodation details pages.

The events database also feeds the Whats On 4 Me, Where 2 Go, Visit The Heart and Red Magazine websites.
