Little Malvern Court

Worcestershire Gardens

Step back in time to a bygone era and cherish sights and smells of some beautiful English country gardens, maintained or restored to inspire from days gone by. Worcestershire also has two arboreta, located in the north of the county, Capability Brown landscapes to enjoy and the Midland's largest garden centre to visit.

Many of the historic houses have fantastic gardens to explore and Worcestershire has plenty to explore including National Trust and English Heritage sites, public parks and wooded countryside parks. Croome Park & Court (National trust) is Capability Brown’s first complete landscape design. It’s best viewed from the windows of Croome Court or from the various benches around the park. Broadway Tower is a lovely Folly located on the edge of the Cotswolds with great views and a country park to enjoy.

Once inspired by the many Worcestershire Gardens, you will want to invest time in your own garden. Now is the perfect time to fill your boarders and hanging baskets with lots of colourful flowers. You may also need to spend more time mowing the lawn and trimming the roses. Some salads and vegetables will be starting to grow now and others will now need to be planted. Make the most of enjoying your garden and many more in Worcestershire this summer.

Many private gardens can be explored during the NGS Festival Weekend, click here to find a garden.
