Visit Worcestershire Photo Competition

Keen photographers from Herefordshire and Worcestershire are invited to take part in the Tourism Photo Competition 2017.

The closing date is Friday 27 October at 4.00pm.

Entries will be featured across the Visit Worcestershire and Visit Herefordshire social media pages.

There are ten available categories for participants to submit entries:

  • History & Heritage
  • The Great Outdoors
  • Festivals & Events
  • Local Life
  • Activities & Adventures
  • Food & Drink
  • Wildlife
  • Secret Places
  • Rivers & Waterways
  • Hospitality & Conference/Special Events


There will be a “Top Ten Photographs” from both counties, and one overall winner from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

The overall winner for Worcestershire will receive 1 night dinner with bed and breakfast at the Bank House Hotel including access to the spa. The overall winner for Herefordshire will receive 1 night stay in Hereford with breakfast at the Green Man, access to the gym, spa and pool at Wye Leisure, and 2 tickets to Goodrich Castle. 

Each county’s winning photograph will be shared on the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s website, and in the January/February edition of the Chamber's business magazine Business Direction.
Entries must be high resolution, and include the location and a caption. Entries are limited to five per person, and should be emailed to socialmedia@hwchamber.co.uk. Images will be shortlisted in-house, and a public vote on the Top Ten Photographs will reveal the overall winner from each county. For more information, please contact lucya@hwchamber.co.uk
