The Hayloft is a delightful barn conversion in a peaceful country setting only 5 minutes from Droitwich Spa and 25 minutes from the centre of Worcester. We are only 3 miles from the M5 motorway, both junction 6 south and junction 5 north. It is perfect for business visitors and it is equally as ideal for the weekend break or midweek getaway whether arriving by car, by train, by bicycle or on foot.

The barn it-self is part of a cluster of buildings that was formerly a farm and sites on the top of the hill enjoying stunning views over the farmland of north Worcestershire towards the Welsh Marches. You are welcome to stroll or sit in the beautiful gardens, or decide on a dip in the hot tub to admire the stunning sunset or simply relax. There is ample off road parking.

The accommodation is at present a selection from one luxury king ensuite and 2 double rooms on the first floor – one en-suite and one with sole use of unusual bathroom (bathrobes provided). The décor is tasteful but simple, allowing the old beams and unusual features to influence the atmosphere. Each room has a Freeview TV and DVD player plus wireless broadband connections. There is also a well-stocked hospitality tray. The ground floor dining room, where breakfast is served, has a quiet relaxing space for guests to enjoy. Only two out of the three rooms are let at any one time for guest comfort.

Breakfast is designed to be substantial but cater for most tastes from the fruit platter and cereals to the full English with home-cured bacon, sausages from our local prize winning butcher. Simpler dishes like smoked salmon and scrambled egg and omelettes are available. We try to use either home-grown or locally sourced products when and where we can.

Expect warm, friendly hospitality with that personal touch. We will give you as much or as little help as you need to make the most of this interesting area. There is something to attract all ages and interests and too many to produce an exhaustive:

Sport – rugby with Worcester Warriors, cricket at New Road, horseracing in Worcester or Cheltenham; motor hill climbs at Shelsley Walsh.

Scenery – The Malvern Hills and Severb and Teme Valleys, the Vale of Evesham and the Cotswolds.

Culture – Straford upon Avon, the NIA, Birmingham theatres.

History – Worcester Cathedral, civil war Commandary Museum, Worcester Porcelain, the ruins of Witley Court, numerous National Trust properties like Hanbury Hall and Coughton Court, the steam locomotives of the Severn Valley Railway.

Retail Therapy – Many individual shops in Worcester, the iconic Bullring, Regency Cheltenham
Food – a variety of eating experiences are available locally to suit all tastes and pockets.

Please note we take cash or cheque or credit/debit cards (but not American Express) for payment and we are a non-smoking establishment.
