Be transported into an enchanting world of seasonal tales and magical stories by the Astaria String Quartet, with their narrator Gemma Martyn Smith and singer Ben Madden (former Head Chorister, Worcester Cathedral).

The Quartet is the official Quartet in Residence at Huntingdon Hall and comprises Kate Bickerdike, Kelly McCusker, Sean Gilde and Shulah Oliver – who have recently completed the Quartet’s first album Fiesta, a celebration of Spanish and Latin American music. The Quartet is committed to education and music in the community, which is reflected in their coaching, master classes, workshops and performances.

This Christmas treat, for all the family, lasts approximately one hour and includes two of the best known Christmas stories – The Snowman and The Night Before Christmas.

Both stories capture the wonder and innocence of childhood. The Snowman goes on a magical adventure to the North Pole to meet Santa Claus and The Night Before Christmas tells the story of Santa’s moonlit, roof top journey with his reindeer to leave presents in the children’s stockings.

With seasonal musical favourites such as Walking in the Air, Dance of the Snowman, and Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride, the concert is a magical way to start to Christmas for all the family.

Tickets are available from the Box Office on 01905 611427
