Get Creative! Join a right royal affair fit for a king, with a chance to draw and model the King of England!
Creative juices will be flowing at Worcester Cathedral on Friday & Saturday April 1st & 2nd 2016. Join in a portrait drawing master class with artist Sara Hayward RCA drawing a living dressed up “King John” and take your turn having a go being the “King John” model (young and old, male and female models wanted throughout the day). There will be a dressing up box with choice of crowns, robes, and royal throne to sit on.
The temporary royal portrait studio will be open 10.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4pm on Friday1st and Saturday 2nd April in the south quire aisle of the Cathedral near to the........sssshhh!.........(in case he can still hear)....... King John’s tomb.
Drawing boards, a few easels, paper, and charcoal will be provided. Develop your “King John” drawings into paintings or prints to enter our King John portrait competition (deadline 17th June 2016) and a chance to be part of the King John Portrait exhibition in October 2016.
