Now in its 5th year, the Eastnor Chilli Festival at Eastnor Castle, near Ledbury, is back on Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd May. This popular annual event will include over 50 stalls and oodles of entertainment, celebrating all things chilli!

The Castle courtyard will be transformed into a Chilli market where visitors will be able to try and buy delicious products such as chocolate, bread, cake, vodka, cocktails and chutney as well as grow-your-own chilli plants. There will also be a number of specialist hot food suppliers selling authentic Asian curries and other spicy foods.

David Littlewood, General Manager at Eastnor Castle said “We are really excited about our fifth Chilli Festival and are thrilled that it’s gained such a huge following both locally and further afield. We’re particularly pleased to be able to welcome so many popular local chefs to our Cookery Demonstration Theatre this year; we’re sure the audience will enjoy watching their creations and trying to recreate them at home!”

The outdoor Cookery Demonstration Theatre is sure to be a big hit this year with local celebrated chefs sharing their culinary delights on stage. The legendary Beefy Boys from Hereford will be making an appearance for the first time this year on the Sunday, alongside Worcestershire’s Felice Tocchini who’s promising a chilli twist on something quite surprising! Also demonstrating their chilli creations are Raw Food Rosie and regulars Tom Court and Rayeesa.

There is a huge amount going on over the weekend with something to entertain all ages. The infamous Chilli Eating Competition will be taking place on the Valley Lawn both afternoons where the Clifton Chilli Club will put the contestants through their chilli-tolerance paces. There’s also a Children’s Cookery School, puppet show and live music, alongside all of the usual attractions.

Due to the popularity of the event and to avoid overcrowding, anyone who wishes to visit the Chilli Festival this year is strongly advised to purchase their tickets online in advance as tickets are limited and there is no guarantee they will still be available on the day.

The Eastnor Chilli Festival will be open from 11am until 5.30pm on both days and admission prices are Adults: £10.50, Children: £7.00 and a Family Ticket (2+3) is priced at £28.00. Further information and tickets are available to purchase from .
