Hogarths Stone Manor


Hogarths Stone Manor, near Kidderminster is continuing its series of special events to celebrate Visit England’s Year of the English Garden with a family Garden Festival on Sunday, 14th August. The newly refurbished, Tudor-style hotel is set in 27 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds, giving lots of space for a great fun day out and a range of activities for all ages.

Come along and enjoy a tasty BBQ cooked by the hotel’s team of chefs, while the bar will be offering a choice of wine; beer from the local Bewdley Brewery and a variety of non-alcoholic drinks. Listen to the six local bands providing lively entertainment throughout the day in the walled garden and browse and buy craft items and fashion accessories from the many stalls.

Take a ride around the grounds in a horse drawn open carriage and watch and take part in a birds of prey demonstration. Children will also be kept happily occupied with donkey rides, a climbing frame and water zorbing plus much more, while the Kidderminster based Kemp Hospice will be hosting an event from its new Teddy Bear scheme.

Hogarths Stone Manor Garden Festival will run from 12noon until 8pm; there is ample free on-site parking. Tickets must be booked in advance priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children aged 3-12 years, under 3s can come along for free (regret this event isn’t suitable for dogs due to the birds of prey display).
