One of the best-selling acts in music history, Billy Joel boasts a repertoire of songs that have been celebrated for the last 40 years.

Having sold more than 150 million records, Billy Joel ranks as one of most popular recording artists and respected entertainers in the world. Throughout the years, Joel's songs have acted as personal and cultural touchstones for millions of people, mirroring his own goal to write songs that mean something during the time in which he lived, and transcend that time. Billy Joel has had 33 Top 40 hits and 23 Grammy nominations since signing his first solo recording contract in 1972

He reluctantly began piano lessons at an early age, at his mother's insistence. Joel attended Hicksville High School until 1967, but he did not graduate with his class. He had been playing at a piano bar to help his mother make ends meet, which interfered with his attendance. He missed a crucial English exam as he had been playing a late-night gig at a piano bar the evening before. Rather than attend summer school to earn his diploma, Joel decided to begin a career in music. In 1992, he submitted essays to the school board and was awarded his diploma at Hicksville High's annual graduation ceremony, 25 years after leaving.

Following their rafter-raising debut at the Hall back in June, Jules Benjamin and his band return for a Christmas special; recreating the highlights of Joel’s incredible career, and playing his best-known and most iconic tracks.

Get ready for another storming night of some of the best songs ever written, performed by a stunning live outfit.
