Sell-out Success for Ed Byrne Gig at Huntingdon Hall

Those lucky enough to have got their hands on a ticket are in for a treat this October, as comedy maestro Ed Byrne brings his latest show Spoiler Alert to Worcester’s Huntingdon Hall.

“I originally intended to call the show I’ll Millennial You in a Minute, but my promoter considered the title, ‘off-puttingly baffling’.” Ed remarks. “That’s my own chainsaw in the photo, by the way.”

Spoiler Alert sees Ed wondering: “Is life that bad or have we good reason to complain about it? Are we filled with righteous anger at a world gone wrong or are we all just a bunch of whiny little brats? In short, are we spoiled?” And those attending Huntingdon Hall on 14th October will be able to watch as he takes this question, turns it upside down and shakes it until the funny falls out, in his own inimitable way.

However, those still thinking about ‘spoiling’ themselves are unfortunately out of luck, as the gig sold out within just weeks of going on sale.

Worcester’s intimate and quirky Huntingdon Hall has become a thriving venue for comedy over the last decade, playing host to countless comic legends including the likes of Eddie Izzard, John Bishop and Jason Manford, but tickets to these gigs are unsurprisingly hot property.

However, with plenty more coming up over the next few months, those who missed out this time need not fear! Star of Taskmaster, Live at the Apollo and Stand Up for the Week Paul Chowdhry will be bringing his highly anticipated new stand-up show to the Hall on the 3rd of November, and Unspun star Matt Forde will be appearing on the 10th – and that’s just for starters.

"A masterful display of the comic's art... This is a seamless and perfectly timed show that could stand proudly next to any Izzard, Bailey, Carr or Skinner stadium-filler" SUNDAY TIMES
