Worcestershire will launch their County Championship campaign with a home fixture against Kent on Sunday 10th April 2016.

Skipper Daryl Mitchell and his side will be bidding to bounce back and mount a promotion challenge after last season's relegation from the top flight.

The same fixture also marked the start of Worcestershire's home campaign in 2014 and on that occasion they triumphed by 125 runs.

The second home match of the season will see Essex visit New Road, followed by Sussex a fortnight later, who like Worcestershire will be bidding to regain their Division One status at the first attempt.

The County will play seven County Championship matches by the beginning of June but then the focus will switch to the white ball game as the NatWest T20 Blast and Royal London One-Day Cup campaigns begin.

The Royal London One-Day Cup matches will predominantly take place during the beginning of the week and the Rapids’ campaign will kick off with a home fixture against Derbyshire Falcons on Sunday 5th June.

The NatWest T20 Blast will generally be played towards the end of the week and the Worcestershire Rapids will be striving to repeat the superb form of 2015 when they reached the quarter-finals after winning six successive away matches, securing a first ever home quarter-final in the competition having finished in the top two of the North Group.

This season Durham Jets will be the first side to visit New Road in the NatWest T20 Blast on Friday 20th May – the first of five Friday night home group matches in the competition. With seven home group matches in total, a NatWest T20 Blast Season Pass for just £80 offers superb value for money!

New Road will also host three Tourist matches for supporters to look forward to including a two-day match against Pakistan beginning on Friday 29th July. The Club are also immensely proud to have been selected to host another Women's ODI match between England and Pakistan in June, plus a four-day match between Pakistan 'A' and Sri Lanka 'A' the following month.

Worcestershire CCC Memberships and NatWest T20 Blast Season Passes for 2016 are currently available to purchase with match day admission tickets due to go on sale on the Club website from Wednesday 9th December.
