SUMMER READING CHALLENGE A HIT

Hundreds of children and adults enjoyed free entry to a National Trust park and house near Pershore to take part in the launch day of the Reading Agency’s annual Summer Reading Challenge 2017 with this year’s theme ‘Animal Agents’ on Saturday 24 June.

This summer holiday, children and young people have the opportunity for their photograph to be taken as a famous person in history at Wonder Wardrobe, an event inspired by the ‘Dressed for Drama’ costume exhibition at Worcester Cathedral.
To compliment the costume exhibition, there are a number of costume-inspired fun, creative and mad activities for families over 6 days.

DOTTY THE DRAGON LANDS AT HARTLEBURY CASTLE

Blunderbus theatre are bringing their acclaimed family theatre production of Dotty the Dragon to Hartlebury Castle on Thursday 25th August.
Using songs and puppetry to delight and enchant, Dotty the Dragon is the perfect way to introduce children to the magic of theatre. The performance starts at 3.30pm and promises plenty of surprises along the way, so pack a picnic and get ready to follow the adventures of Dotty the baby Fire Dragon as she goes on a journey to make friends.
