20 YEARS OF CROOME & 20 YEARS VOLUNTEERING

The National Trust are celebrating 20 years since acquiring Croome’s parkland, near Worcester, and two key people have been with them every step of the way.
Two volunteers are now the longest serving team members who have been helping restore the parkland to the famous 18th century landscape designer, ‘Capability’ Brown’s, vision.

On Wednesday 7th December the King’s School Worcester Foundation will mark the 475th Anniversary of the Re-Foundation of the School, which took place in 1541, with a day of special events culminating with a firework display.

Lemurs at West Midland Safari Park have been treated to their very own advent calendar, courtesy of some very special visitors!
As part of the Park’s annual Santa Safari event, Santa, Mrs Claus and their elf helpers have taken up residency in the Discovery Trail until Christmas Eve. Whilst Santa is occupied meeting all the boys and girls, Mrs Claus and the head elf have been busy making gifts for the animals and first on the ‘nice list’ were the Park’s troop of ring-tailed, red bellied and white-fronted brown lemurs.
