Bridles End House,
Just 4 miles north of the City of Worcester and surrounded by charming countryside, Hallow is a lively village community with a church, small general store, village shop with post office, tennis courts and two pubs.
With views of the Malvern Hills, the village is bordered to the east by the River Severn and 'The New Cottage' is just a 10-minute walk away from the River, where there's another pub on the waters edge to quench your thirst! It is also surrounded by many public footpaths (one adjacent to the cottage), offering delightful walks around the village and further afield.
Situated at the entrance of our 1 acre home, 'The New Cottage' has its own secluded paved garden with flowering tubs in the summer, garden furniture and a barbeque. To the east are delightful views over the Severn Valley from the 1st floor. Guests are most welcome to stroll around the 1.5 acres paddock, adjacent to the cottage (ideal for dogs). There is adequate off road parking.
The accommodation consists of a double and a small single bedroom on the 1st floor, both fully furnished. On the ground floor, as well as the kitchen and lounge dining area, there is a spacious shower room with toilet, and another fully furnished single bedroom, both of which have the advantage of being suitable for less mobile guests who need the use of a wheelchair or walking aids. The shower room with toilet, which has been designed with non-slip floor tiling, has a floor level shower area with aids, including a shower chair, if required. The toilet has been fitted with wheelchair transfer space and pull down arm rests. The washbasin is also suitably positioned.
The well equipped kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave. There is a tumble dryer and drying area situated in the workshop just 15 yards from 'The New Cottage' across the car parking space.
There is a combined digital TV and DVD player and a digital radio/ CD player in the small but comfortable lounge/dining area. There is also information on local and regional places of interest displayed here.
All rooms are heated by individual convector heaters, controlled by the guests and there is a constant supply of hot water both at no extra charge. Beds are made ready for your arrival with sheets and duvets. All towels and tea towels are provided. If you stay for more than 7 days 'The New Cottage' will be serviced.
Children welcome from any age.
