Park at Vines Park01386 565355workParkDroitwich Spa is hosting its annual St. Richard’s Festival over May Bank Holiday weekend featuring medieval entertainment, classic and vintage cars, street markets, canal boats, live music and real ale bar.
The event starts on Friday 2nd May evening with live music and real ale bar in Vines Park and runs until Monday 5th May 5pm. Canal boats will be on display over the weekend along with static engines, community and craft stalls, live entertainment, real ale bar and boat trips on the Pamela May. Live entertainment in the marquee includes performances by The Rambling Jacks, Meet on the Ledge, Appalachian Dancers, Blackwell Concert Band, Rainbow Road, Boaty Folk and Droitwich Community Choir.
On Saturday 3rd May the Plantagenet Medieval Society will be entertaining visitors in Vines Park with squire training, musicians, dancing and armour demonstration. Over 100 classic and vintage cars will be parked up throughout the town centre alongside the Italian market and Farmers and Craft market, art exhibition and other entertainment and activities. A selection of cars will be on display again on Sunday 4th May to accompany the programme of entertainment and activities in Vines Park. Other activities are planned for the weekend and further details will be published in due course.
