Details

Visit Worcester Cathedral on 17 March 2018 to experience one of the truly great choral works: Haydn’s oratorio masterpiece, The Creation.
Telling the story of the creation of the world, Haydn uses texts from Genesis chapter one, the book of Psalms and Milton's Paradise Lost, to convey the seven, picturesquely described days of Creation.
Performing with the 150 members of Worcester Festival Choral Society – many of whom sing in the annual Three Choirs Festival – will be the Meridian Sinfonia and acclaimed soloists. Worcester Cathedral Director of Music, Dr Peter Nardone, conducts. Tickets from www.worcesterfestivalchoralsociety.org.uk or Worcester live Box Office 01905 611427
