WWhether you are looking for a chance to learn about everything from Romans to Regency, a peaceful stroll through nature or just a nice cup of tea and a cake Worcestershire County Museum, housed in historic Hartlebury Castle, has it all.
Hartlebury Castle, near Kidderminster, has been home to the Bishops of Worcester for over 1000 years. Exploring the servant's wing of the Castle you will find the fascinating and varied collections of the Worcestershire County Museum including toys, domestic items, beautiful costume, craftwork by the Bromsgrove Guild and ancient archaeological finds. New galleries in the museum explore the geographical wonders of Worcestershire the County's Agricultural history and the importance of water to the region. Themed rooms based on the Victorian and Civil War periods to give visitors an idea of how their ancestors lived in the past. The Castle also features some original rooms such as the scullery and laundry and room sets like the schoolroom and nursery. Within the grounds of the Castle you will find a 300 year old Cider Mill, a nature reserve, picnic areas and the Transport Gallery which houses a large collection of horse-drawn vehicles, cars, bicycles and a fabulous display of Gypsy caravans.
The café will accommodate a large group and group visits. We can also provide a buffet or a 2 or 3 course set meal.

If you would like to make a group booking please fill in the Group Booking Form in the pack and post completed forms to Worcestershire County Museum, Hartlebury Castle, Hartlebury, Kidderminster, DY11 7XZ. If you require catering please also fill in the Catering Booking Form and return to us at least two weeks prior to your visit.

Catering available for groups
Admission prices for groups are £4.50 (adults) and £2.25 (concessions) during the day or £9.00 (adults) and £4.50 (concessions) for an evening visit.
The driver of each group of 20+ visitors will be given free admission to the museum and a £5 refreshment voucher for use in the cafe.
