Indulge yourself with a dining experience to remember.

Step back in time to the golden age of steam train travel. Dine in period style as the beautiful Worcestershire and Shropshire countryside slips past your window. Our steam-hauled dining services operate most weekends and on selected weekdays during the summer months.

Sunday Luncheon Trains...
On most Sundays we operate two dining trains, the Severn Valley Limited and the Severn Valley Venturer.

Experience a three-course luncheon whilst travelling by heritage steam train along the beautiful Severn Valley. Enjoy spectacular views of the countryside and the river valley along the way.
Meal choices range from a traditional 'Sunday roast, a fish option or a vegetarian selection*.

Dishes are freshly prepared in our own kitchen cars whilst you wine and dine, in traditional comfort.

Pre-booking is essential for Dinning in our restaurant cars either online or by calling 01562 757515

Murder Mystery Dining Trains offer an experience with a difference and the Observation Saloon can be hired for special events and functions.

So for that special celebration, a family gathering with a difference or a business function that will certainly be a talking point for a very long time, look no further than dining trains on the Severn Valley Railway.

The Severn Valley Railway strives very hard to provide access for people of all ages who have a variety of mobility or other special needs. For the physically less able specially adapted vehicles, which allow wheelchair access, are available on certain trains. Disability friendly toilets are also fitted in these vehicles. At all stations, but excluding Northwood and Country Park Halts, ramps are available which connect between the train and the platform. The train crew and station staff will assist passengers in wheelchairs if required, they are used to doing this. If your group is likely to contain a large number of physically less able people, our staff at Bewdley will provide advice regarding the best trains to travel on and the most appropriate stations to embark and disembark. Please call. Please remember that our stations were built in the 1860s and, as such, pose some operational difficulties.
