The beautiful Charles Hastings building at City Campus is a Grade II listed Georgian building and has been one of Worcester’s most important landmarks for over 200 years. It provides a truly memorable venue for your ceremony
Our wedding rooms include the Charles Hastings Boardroom, where the British Medical Association was founded in 1832, as well as a choice of modern and light airy rooms set within the same building.
The fascinating Jenny Lind Chapel is also available for drinks receptions to complement your celebrations.

The University of Worcester is fully licensed to hold marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. You will require the attendance of the Superintendent Registrar and a Registrar of the District to carry out the ceremony. Leave the M5 at Junction 7, heading west towards Worcester. At the first roundabout take the A4440 following signs for Leominster (A44). Continue for approx 2 miles. At the roundabout where the A4440 crosses the A44 take the A44 to Worcester. Take the first left into Tudor Way and carry on to the end. This will take you through a residential area. At the end, turn right into Oldbury Road. The entrance is on the left just passed the bus stop. The reception is situated in the main building.

Worcester Foregate Street is situated in the city centre and is a 15 minute walk from the University or five minutes by taxi. You can walk a short distance to the Crowngate Bus Station and catch the No 31 to Oldbury Road.
Worcester Shrub Hill is a 25 minute walk from the University or five minutes by taxi. You can catch the no 31 bus from the far side of the road, immediately in front of Shrub Hill Station to Oldbury Road.
