Redditch
Redditch is a thriving New Town developed significantly in the 1970’s although the
town’s history dates back to the 12th Century when Cistercian Monks settled on the banks of the River
Arrow. Redditch was known throughout the world in the 19th Century as the manufacturing centre
for needles.
