As the nights draw in we are all looking for comfort and that snuggly feeling that comes with the change of seasons.
The smell of bonfires, sticky sweet toffee apples and pumpkin spice is filling the air, and here in Worcestershire we are excited to get out into our beautiful countryside to start kicking leaves!
Whether you are looking for tasty local produce to include in your autumnal soup, or fun activities to amuse the kids during half term, Worcestershire is an autumn haven to enjoy as the sun begins to set on the year.
Crunch those leaves under foot, watch out for ghosts and ghouls, and soak up the cool autumn chill.
We have Halloween events for your little monsters, forests and arboretums full of beautiful orange, yellow and red trees, and fields full of big ripe pumpkins ready to be carved into faces to scare your neighbours.
Autumn is the perfect time to explore in Worcestershire. As a county focussed on agriculture, Worcestershire really comes alive during the harvest season. We are also lucky to have lots of beautiful countryside to revel in the autumn colours once we reach the final months of the year. There’s plenty of beauty to discover in Worcestershire and when is a better time than when everything is bathed in a warm orangey glow?
So grab your pumpkin spice lattes, your scarves, and head out to the pumpkin patch!
We would ask you to please enjoy Autumn 2020 as safely as possible and ensure that you are up to date with any changes in local coronavirus restrictions.
When visiting businesses or attending events, please check covid safety measures before your arrival.
