The Dodford Inn, Bromsgrove
The Dodford Inn dates back to the mid-19th century and has been known locally as “The Pub in the Field”. This hidden gem is set in 6 acres of Worcestershire parkland in the historic chartist village of Dodford at the centre of “The Royal Hunters Walks”.

The Malverns
The Malverns is home to many fantastic pubs and listed here are some of the bests nestled in amongst the paths across the Malvern Hills and through the picturesque Teme Valley. Perfect for a breather, some food and a pint before, during and after your hike.

The Chase Inn
The Chase Inn is one of the most popular pubs with walkers on the Malverns; and it comes as no surprise. With a first-rate roast next to roaring open fires, a beautiful beer garden and sublime views of the Black Mountains, this is another pitstop you won’t want to miss.

The Marlbank Inn
A favourite for hill-walkers due to the on-site camping and bed & breakfast arrangement. A wide selection of drinks, excellent Indian Street food and even dog friendly, this is the perfect spot for a break in the midst of walking.

The Talbot at Knightwick
On the bank of the River Teme and overlooking the Malverns, the Talbot Inn has stood since the 1400’s. The pub is situated on The Worcestershire Way, The Three Choirs Way, and The Geopark Way, 3 of the Midlands’ most popular long-distance paths, and there are lots of circular walks ranging in length from 1 hour to the whole day.
Their incredible menu is made up of homegrown and locally sourced ingredients and even produce their own beer right in the Teme Valley. They also offer cosy and traditional-style rooms for a great night’s sleep. Why not coincide your visit with Teme Farmer's market which happens every second Sunday of the month.

The Paul Pry - Worcester
Who says a ramble needs to be in the Countryside? After a long mooch around Worcester City, why not check out a pub with REAL history! The Paul Pry was built as a luxurious pub to service the nearby cattle market and good people of Worcester, it was named after a popular theatrical character of the time.
Today, The Paul Pry is a beautiful example of a well preserved late-Victorian pub. Boasting original tiles, flooring, and back bar, it is like stepping back to a bygone era!

The Flyford Inn - Flyford
Just fifteen minutes from Worcester city centre, The Flyford is a welcoming, award-winning country pub, serving stripped back rustic food, specialising in seafood. The Fleece Inn – Bretforton
The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Cotswold’s boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round. With real ales and ciders aplenty, this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers and featured in Countryfile Magazines Britain’s Best summer pub walks so must be good! The Hop Pole Inn - Bewdley
The Hop Pole Inn is on the outskirts of the picturesque Worcestershire town of Bewdley and has a great country pub atmosphere featuring lovingly prepared food that changes seasonally, featuring fresh produce from their Kitchen Garden and local suppliers. Bewdley is a great base for a large variety of walks, including those around the Wyre Forest and even taking in the Safari Park on foot.

Visit the Hop Pole Inn
The Rose and Crown, Severn Stoke
Nestled in the picturesque village of Severn Stoke, this traditional 15th Century pub prides itself on being ‘a proper old English pub’. Serving delicious pub grub, well-kept cask ales and fine wines it is a great option for a roast, quick pint or warm by the log fire or even the fire pit outside. With a cosy traditional feel inside and a recently renovated large outdoor area, you have the best of both worlds inside and out with or without your pooch – as they are very welcome!
You may choose to walk the Severn Stoke loop through the NT grounds of Croome Park or simply park at the pub and join The Severn Way for an easy flat but picturesque option – either way, you will be assured of a warm welcome at the pub once you have clocked up the steps!

Queen Elizabeth Inn – Pershore
The Queen Elizabeth Inn is an award-winning, community-run pub dating backing to the 16th Century. Serving locally sourced, homemade pub classic British food and a Sunday carvery, The Queen Elizabeth also has a large beer garden where guests, can enjoy the wide range of real ales. Hadley Bowling Green
A charming Elizabethan pub located in Hadley Heath in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, near historic Droitwich Spa. Fox & Hounds
Set in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside just off the Worcestershire Way, The Fox & Hounds is Alfirck & Lulsley’s characterful country village pub with excellent locally-sourced food and a selection of lovely real ales.
The Fox & Hounds organise their own walk and lunch package led by a local historian and includes a guided walk through the stunning Worcestershire Countryside followed by a beautiful Sunday Lunch at the award-winning Fox & Hounds at Lulsley.
The walk is 2-2.5 hrs long and takes in the wide breadth of natural and historical Alfrick, Lulsley & Suckley landmarks. Beginning and ending at The Fox & Hounds, the walk starts at 9:30am and is designed to be enjoyed at a moderate pace with the total group around 20-25. Walkers will then return to the Pub for approx. Noon to enjoy their well-earned lunch.
