Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings

The Museum is conveniently situated between Birmingham and Worcester and set in 19 acres of picturesque grounds with a large, free car park, a shop and Tea Room.

There are 30 restored and re-erected buildings including a working 19th century windmill, a Medieval Town House, a fully-furnished 1940s prefab and the National Telephone Kiosk Collection. There are also tributes to the Midlands' industrial heritage, including a 100 year forge and a 19th century chain-making shop.

As well as the collections of exhibits, Avoncroft Museum has a children's play area, an orchard containing traditional varieties of cider apples and perry pears, a picnic area and a wild flower meadow.

There is a lively programme of events throughout the year, including historical re-enactments, open-air theatre and family fun days.
