Opening times, reviews & more

Hareley Barn is Grade II listed, built in the 16th Century from stone quarried on the farm. It has been sensitively restored, preserving the original hayrack and cattle stall as well as a wealth of wooden beams. There are panoramic views across an unspoilt rural valley. The services are entirely modern and include full central heating, a spa bath and walk-in shower. Hareley Barn has a spacious living room with a log burning stove, dining area and two sofas. There is also a television, video recorder, DVD player and stereo/CD player. The separate kitchen includes a twin oven electric cooker, microwave and refrigerator with freezer compartment.Hareley Barn has two spacious bedrooms. One has a king-sized bed plus en suite bathroom with antique style bath, toilet and washbasin. The en suite bathroom has a small step - the only one in the Barn. The second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms contain a 2'6" convertible single bed suitable for a child up to the age of 10. A separate bathroom has a splash shower, spa bath, toilet and washbasin. Beds are made up with good quality linen and non-allergenic duvets and pillows.Laundry facilities are available. The barbecue area has a barbecue, table and chairs and some of the best views. The level entrance and wide doorways provide easy access for less able guests. There is off-road parking immediately outside the Barn. If you are bringing children they will be able to use the large grassed and fenced play area, which is available from April until the end of October. We provide a small selection of videos, some suitable for children. A travel cot, high chair and toys suitable for children age two to eight years old are available at no extra charge. Please note that there are steep banks and an unfenced stream. Young children should be kept under supervision.Hareley Barn is on a working rare breeds farm. There is an abundance of wildlife on our woodland and pasture. If you are interested, we will be glad to show you around some of the livestock during your stay. Access to some areas of the farm are restricted at certain times of year due to livestock or cropping requirements. Pets are not allowed.
