Kateshill House

Regional winner of the Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Awards in the bed and breakfast award.Kateshill House is a Georgian Manor house, which has been recently restored. It retains many of its original features but boasts 21st Century comforts. The house is surrounded by 2 acres of garden in which stands the 500-year-old famous Spanish Chestnut tree. The house is on the outskirts of the town but only a five-minute walk to the centre.All the en-suite bedrooms have been individually and lovingly decorated. Furnished with period pieces, all rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, TV, Hairdryer, fresh flowers and fruit and complimentary sherry and chocolates.On arrival, guests are welcomed into the Residents' Drawing Room to enjoy home made cakes and tea, relive the elegance of a bygone era.Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room. All special diets are catered for. The menu is varied using fresh local produce.
