A CAPPELLA HARMONY COMES TO WORCESTER
Close harmony, laughter, strange songwriting and even improvised singing comes to the lovely St Swithuns Church in Worcester city with a visit from The Pocket Choral Society led by Oliver Carpenter.

Hailing from the hard-to-find village of Pocket comes an a cappella show from this off-the-wall choir of four village characters.
Combining beautiful harmonies, original music, with much laughter and improvised singing sessions, the Pocket Choral Society feature four experienced singers blending into one. Singing unamplified and unaccompanied the quartet bring lots of their own songs and new arrangements of some more well-known numbers from songwriters like Lennon & McCartney, Flanders & Swann and Tom Waits in an intimate and relaxed way. And what a fabulous venue the newly refurbished St Swithuns is. With acoustics that are perfect for unamplified singing this beautiful building has a lovely interior and The Pockets are really excited to be singing there.
