Conducted by James Topp, ESO Beginner and Intermediate Orchestras will perform their own American-themed programme, which includes their recent course repertoire. One of the most anticipated will be the BBC ‘Ten Pieces’ version of Leonard Bernstein's explosive 'Mambo' from his Symphonic Dances 'West Side Story' Suite.

ESO Youth Beginners and Intermediate ensembles are formed of talented students aged 6-17 from all over the UK who come together at half-terms and summer holidays.
