About this event

Dates, address & more

This relaxed and informative workshop is a fascinating insight into the world of making cold process soap; the original, the traditional, the finest method of making soap. During your day, you will make two batches of soap - each batch makes 6-8 bars. The first focussing on following the making method and introducing fragrance, the second exploring the addition of colour and creating decorative patterns. There will be a selection of carefully curated recipes for you to choose from, including an exciting new addition; goat's milk soap, known for its kindness to skin and hydration qualities.

This is an in-depth workshop. Your experienced and knowledgable tutor will share the science behind this ever popular craft, and there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions during the day.

The workshop will run from 10.00am until 4.00pm, with a pause for a ploughman-style lunch. Your lunch and everything you need to make your two batches of soap will be provided, as will a workshop apron for you to wear during your day.

We have run this workshop for ten years and it is an absolute joy!

Places on this workshop are limited to 8.
