Let Ralph Vaughan Williams's thrilling choral masterpiece, A Sea Symphony, take you on a ravishing musical voyage capturing the mighty power of the ocean. This is a not-to-be-missed concert from the 150 voices of Worcester Festival Choral Society.Deepening the sea theme in this exciting concert is Frederick Delius's richly evocative choral work, Sea Drift.The Society has programmed A Sea Symphony both to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Vaughan Williams's birth, and by popular demand, to replace its planned 2020 performance.Complimented by the magnificent setting of Worcester Cathedral, and accompanied by the superb Meridian Sinfonia symphony orchestra. This exceptional concert features renowned soprano Sarah Fox and baritone Andrew Mayor, with Worcester Cathedral's director of music, Samuel Hudson, conducting.Join us to celebrate this wonderful music in grand choral and orchestral style!
