Vintage Transport Extravaganza

The SVR’s vehicular spectacular bursts into life across a whole weekend, as the Vintage Transport Extravaganza welcomes vehicles from all eras to each station on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th August.

Across all six stations, you’ll see steam-powered traction engines, buses, motorbikes, cars, tractors, and other rarities and oddities as you travel along the 16-mile line, hauled by steam engine or heritage diesel locomotive.

If you like vintage vehicles, own a classic car or have always dreamed of owning a traction engine, then the Severn Valley Railway is the only place to visit at the beginning of August.
