West Midland Safari Park has a great line up of fantastic family entertainment for the summer season this year.
The award-winning West Midland Safari Park has 1700 magical animal encounters and four miles of safari, home to Indian Rhino; Cheetah; Lions; Tigers; Giraffe and Elephants, including an adorable baby elephant born in 2014!
As this is a self-drive safari, you can travel round in your own vehicle and even get the chance to feed some of the animals! What’s more, you can drive through as many times as you wish! Alternatively, if you prefer to be driven, then you are able to book a guided minibus tour for an extra charge.
There’s also a Discovery Trail showcasing Lorikeet Landing, where you can get up close and personal to amazing lorikeets and even try your hand at feeding them for a small extra charge! As well at this, there is Penguin Cove, Sea Lion Shows, Twilight Cave, Aquarium, Reptile House, Creepy Crawlies and friendly animal encounters galore. The African Village is situated by the lakeside and is where “Meerkat Mayhem” and “Walking with Lemurs” can be found. Whilst the Adventure Theme Park has a host of fun rides and attractions to suit all members of the family (extra charge).
One of the most incredible things about a visit to West Midland Safari Park must be that all paying visitors arriving by car get a second ticket to come back again for free!
