Foodie Friday: Hot Chocolate

Oct 30 2020 Food & Drink Foodie Fridays

As the nights draw in and the days get colder, we’re all looking for somewhere to warm our chilly hands.

For those of us with a sweet tooth there’s no better hand warmer than a big old mug of velvety hot chocolate, and here in Worcestershire we have some scrumptious hot chocolates to try…

Koffee and Cake – Pershore

Koffee and Cake in Pershore love variety. Their hot chocolate comes with a range of options to add a little something extra to the hot chocolate occasion! Choose from a range of delicious hot chocolate flavours, coconut, mint, hazelnut, gingerbread or butterscotch. Of course for the traditionalist, there’s a simple hot chocolate too! And if your sweet tooth isn’t satisfied with that, Koffee and Cake are famous for their homemade brownies and blondies in a range of flavours!

All Koffee and Cake’s hot chocolates are made with the finest Belgian chocolate and are a perfect winter warmer.

Chocolate Deli – Worcester

As the name suggests, for Chocolate Deli in Worcester, chocolate is the main priority! Their delicious hot chocolate is made from real chocolate and is a decadent treat for the colder months.

The fun doesn’t stop there though, there are plenty of delicious treats for you to enjoy with your hot chocolate with cakes and handmade chocolate made on the premises. Based on New Street in Worcester Chocolate Deli is a great pitstop if you are in the city centre Christmas shopping, and need a rest from treating everyone else, to treat yourself.

Oliver’s – Stourport on severn

Oliver’s is one of Stourport on Severn’s hidden gems. Based in the beautiful Tontine area, Oliver’s serves hot drinks from a canal boat moored up near the locks into Stourport’s basin area. With the proximity to both the canal and the river, it is the perfect stop off point after a stroll.

The canal towpath offers a picturesque walk through Stourport, and Stourport’s riverside path forms part of the Worcestershire Way where you can either head upstream towards Bewdley or go downstream towards the Lincomb locks and beyond to Worcester. Why not enjoy your river walk with a cup of tasty hot chocolate from Oliver’s in hand!
