Mood Swings

Is there anything that brings more joy than a well placed tree swing?

If you look hard enough in Worcestershire you might just find a Mood Swing in the perfect spot to sit for a bit and take in the view.

Across the Worcestershire countryside there are swings popping up in unexpected places.

Couple, Jess and Darius and have been putting up secret swings across the country, with many of them to be found here in Worcestershire.

Jess told us, “We fully believe in the importance and benefits of getting outdoors and enjoying nature, and taking a moment away from the normal stresses of life to just enjoy what’s around you. We want to just spread a little bit of love and happiness, and hope that it puts a smile on people’s faces and encourages people to get out there and have fun!”

The couple had the idea after finding a plank of wood that was perfect for a swing base, and found a tree in a local park to hang the swing from.

“We are a couple that both work in the Worcestershire area and have decided to take up this new hobby combining our love of exploring the outdoors and having fun. We both have a keen interest in nature and beautiful photography and taking time to enjoy the moment… Hygge as the Norwegians call it! Given the difficult times we’ve all been going through so far this year, we hope to just bring a little bit of happiness in a small way for both children and adults.”

The idea grew from there and they decided to keep putting up swings in beautiful locations for people to sit and take in the views.
