Coach House Barn is a recently renovated self-catering barn conversion. Originally the coach house to Defford House it has a fascinating history, dating back to the 1830’s. It has been renovated to a very high standard yet care has been taken to retain the original historic character of the building. The Barn is extremely comfortable and has a wealth of exposed brickwork, oak beams, central heating and conservation double-glazing throughout.
Coach House Barn has been tastefully furnished with a combination of modern and antique furniture and there are original art works dotted all through the property. It has two double bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms, suitable for a family or two couples sharing the property. There is a dressing room next to one of the bedrooms which would be suitable for an occasional bed or cot. The bed linen provided is Egyptian cotton with luxury pillows and duvets.
Situated in the picturesque village of Defford, just a short drive from Pershore, in the heart of Worcestershire, Coach House Barn is located within the walled gardens of Defford House. There is a tranquil and sunny courtyard garden for the sole use of guests and has seating for four people and plenty of space for alfresco dining.
Children are very welcome. A cot can be provided on advance booking together with a high chair and stair gates. For the comfort of all our customers we do not permit pets in the Barn, and smoking is permitted in the courtyard terrace.
Coach House Barn has all the amenities including, dishwasher, cooker, hob, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, digital flat-screen TV with DVD player, CD player and free WIFI.
The Barn is accessed through private electric gates and there is enough parking for two cars on the drive.
