Knapp and Papermill Nature Reserve

The Knapp House, Bridges Stone, Alfrick, Worcestershire, WR6 5HR

Sixty-three acres of woodland, meadow, orchards, marsh and stream.

01905 754919

The variety of habitats in this reserve is reflected in the range of plants and animals occurring here. The apple orchard contains old lichen-encrusted trees above a pasture containing many herbs including meadowsweet, common spotted orchid and occasional wild daffodils. The Leigh Brook is relatively unpolluted and still supports a wide variety of invertebrate life. There are 3 separate meadows and more than half of the reserve is woodland.
