Packed with a range of interactive and informative exhibits, the Engine House is a must-see.

The SVR’s reserve collection of full-size steam locomotives is housed here, alongside a King George VI Royal Carriage, The Peter’s Railway Young Engineers’ Centre, the SVR 50th Anniversary exhibition and a range of railway artefacts.

The Flag & Whistle Food Stop also provides a great place to stop and re-fuel whilst admiring the views of the Severn Valley and kids will love the outdoor play area.

Freedom of the Line train tickets allow unlimited travel on the Railway on the day of purchase as well as free admission to The Engine House.

Discounted Freedom of the line tickets Kidderminster to Bridgnorth can be purchased in advance. These tickets also include a visit to the Engine House Visitor Centre at Highley.Must be booked at least 5 working days in advance of your visit. It is an all-day ticket valid on a off at any station. Dogs may travel on our trains, except in the dining cars, but are NOT admitted to The Engine House Visitor Centre.
