The Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards are here!

We are excited to announce the return of the Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards for 2022/23 in honour of celebrating our vibrant tourism sector in Worcestershire.

After a very successful inaugural Tourism Awards last year, we want to continue to celebrate our very best in the county and shout about the incredible tourism and hospitality businesses of Worcestershire.

We are proud of Worcestershire’s tourism industry and want to show off the brilliant businesses we have to offer. What better way to do this than by providing the opportunity to showcase and recognise them via the Tourism Awards!

The Event and Tickets

This year’s Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards will conclude with a glitzy awards event on Friday 24th March 2023 at Treetops Pavilion, West Midland Safari Park and aims to celebrate and recognise excellence in the county’s tourism and hospitality sector once again. The awards provide the opportunity for the industry to be recognised and appreciated for all their efforts.

Everyone in Worcestershire’s tourism industry is invited to join us and be part of the celebrations!

We are very pleased to announce that Hal Cruttenden, British comedian, actor, writer and presenter will be our host for this year’s awards ceremony.

Hal Cruttenden is one of Britain‘s top comedians as well as being a highly accomplished writer and actor.

Hal has hosted The Rugby’s On on BT Sport with Ugo Monye. He has also made several appearances on ‘Live at the Apollo’ (BBC1 & 2), ‘Have I Got News For You’ (BBC1), ‘The Royal Variety Performance’ (ITV1), ‘Would I Lie To You’ (BBC1) ‘The One Show’ (BBC1), ‘The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice’ (BBC2 & Channel 4) and ‘The Apprentice: You’re Fired’ (BBC2). He’s currently touring his new show 'It's best you hear it from me' and he has toured extensively in the UK and Ireland over the last 10 years, he has also taken shows to the Montreal, Melbourne, and New Zealand comedy festivals.

The Tourism Awards event itself will commence with a welcome drink upon arrival, followed by a 3-course locally inspired meal before the awards are presented. Further entertainment and photo opportunities will close the evening.

Applications

Applications for the 2022/23 Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards are now CLOSED.

After two rounds of judging, entrants are shortlisted, and all finalists go forward to the event itself where winners are announced.

All winners of the Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards are forwarded for entry into the Visit England Awards for Excellence, for a chance to win on the national stage and represent Worcestershire as one of the best destinations in England.

Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards 2021/22

Last year’s Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards concluded with an outstanding awards event on Friday 11th March 2022 at Stanbrook Abbey, celebrating and recognising the excellence in the county’s tourism and hospitality sector. A huge congratulations to all participants and winners!
