Many of our cafes, pubs and restaurants have fantastic vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, but if you are looking for the more dedicated then Worcestershire also has some great options that focus a little more on plant-based food! Here are some great places offering Vegan and Vegetarian options!

Be the Change – Worcester

Be the Change in Worcester is a dedicated 100% vegan lounge, with delicious plant-based food and drink on offer! The offer exciting combinations of flavour and texture with best sellers including the breakfast burrito, the sticky 5 spice vegan ribs and a seasonal wholefoods bowl. They even have a tasty vegan bakes, a particular favourite being the brownie and cookie hybrid known as the ‘Brookie’.

Right in the heart of Worcester’s Cornmarket square, you can experience a friendly welcoming atmosphere with seating options upstairs, downstairs and outside.

Be The Change is open 10-8 every day and offers local delivery from 5-8 within a 20 minute driving radius of WR1 2DJ

The Cosy Chocolate Company

The Cosy Chocolate Company offer a vegan friendly chocolate bar, produced right here in Worcestershire. Known for their make at home flaked drinking chocolate, The Cosy Chocolate company deliver the perfect cosy hot chocolate moment, in a range of flavours. All their products are dairy free and gluten free. And their first chocolate bar is a single origin Madagascan craft chocolate bar, which is proudly produced bean-to-bar within Worcestershire.

Delicious flavours include mulled spice, salted caramel and gingerbread.

They even sell a vegan friendly comfort box, complete with vegan marshmallows for the perfect hot chocolate experience.

The Fold – Bransford

Whilst The Fold is not solely plant based, they do look consciously at what is served in the café with respect to its ethical and environmental considerations for the community and do have a good selection of vegetarian and vegan soups, salads and sandwiches made fresh every day, as well as a range of cakes and pastries.

Food at The Fold is sourced Fairtrade and organic wherever possible and practical, supplied by their own Soil Association certified organic farm and other local organic growers from the local area.

The Fold also has a farm shop that sells a wide range of meat and dairy alternatives from cashew cream cheese to tempeh for you to prepare at home.
