Key events in Worcester city are held throughout the year.
The Love Worcester festival in February half term celebrates the Worcester’s spectacular heritage, with lots of activities on offer for children and adults.
In May, Worcester Motor Festival fills the streets with new and vintage cars, and nods to two of Worestershire’s most famous motoring associations – Morgan Motors based in Malvern, and Shelsley Walsh, the oldest motorsport venue that has been in continuous use in the world.
In the summer lookout for the Worcester LitFest & Fringe in June, and the Worcester Foodie Festival which has over 60 food and drink exhibitors filling up the city centre, and is a real crowd pleaser.
Watch out for the celebrity chefs offering free demos in the newly completed Cathedral Square.
For those with a taste for something else, the CAMRA Beer, Cider & Perry Festival in August is over the river at the Racecourse, and the Music Festival in September really brings the city alive.
Perhaps the biggest event is the Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre, held at the end of November. Featuring a traditional Victorian carousel, juggling stilt walkers, Victorian characters and local choirs plus more than 180 market stalls selling gifts and crafts.
Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre is the leading themed street market in the West Midlands. Hundreds of stalls fill the atmospheric streets of Worcester’s historic heart with the colours, sounds and smells of Christmas.
