The Worcester Music Festival is just one of many ways to find yourself being entertained when you’re in Worcestershire

From the tri-annual Three Choirs Festival held in Worcester Cathedral to the Upton Jazz and Blues festivals, it’s no surprise Worcestershire has a musical legacy, as it is also the birthplace of Sir Edward Elgar.

Visitors come from far and wide every three years to enjoy the sights of Worcester and the sounds of the Three Choirs Festival, which is the oldest non-competitive classical music festival in the world.

All year round Malvern Theatres, the Swan Theatre, Huntingdon Hall, the Palace Theatre in Redditch and the Artrix in Bromsgrove offer a variety of shows, comedy and musical performances. Many big names appearing in touring shows at Malvern Theatres, offering visitors the chance to see these popular shows without travelling down to the West End.

If you enjoy the sounds of Jazz or Blues, Upton-upon-Severn can treat you to two dedicated festivals of these musical delights, bringing the waterside town of Upton to life across weekends in June and July respectively.
